Many of our team building events can, given the right venue, run either indoors or outdoors, or even a mix of the two. Teambuilding Australia’s indoor team building activities are a great way to emphasize themes of your conference or add spice to a team building event. The following events can all run indoors:

The Build a Flat Pack - is a really unique team building event that combines an opportunity for your staff to hone skills like communication, Quality, creativity, leadership and teamwork, with a chance to give back to their local community. From office equipment, new kitchen units, furniture, play equipment and garden seating.

This team building event starts by the formation of several different teams depending on the size of your group. The objective for teams is to find, and build a fully functioning piece of furniture. The problem for them though is that they have no parts...YET! What works well, is that a theme is built in - such as The Apprentice, or a Quality Control aspect, that way teams need to follow a briefing and also adhere to the rules in order to win.

The parts for all of the Furniture must be earned through the completion of different challenges, which can be designed to meet any and all of your objectives for your team. These challenges vary, from classic race against the clock, or team problems, where teams vs teams are rewarded for their results - the more you win the more info you get. Once all pieces have been collected, the building of the furniture can begin.

Teams present their Quality Control inspected furniture or play equipment to children in need from a selected children's charity. eg: Unicef, Make A Wish, Stuart House, Save The Children, Starlight Foundation, Red Kite, Smith Family, Salvation Army, Barnados, Camp Quality or Red Cross…

Build A Flat Pack creates a very powerful experience for your staff, one that they’ll remember, and in turn, will help them to remember all that they learned during this team building event for a long time to come!

Teams are put together to race against the clock to build an exact copy of a model made from plastic blocks, which is located in a separate location. Teams are given time to inspect, view only, assess the structure and then attempt, as a team, to recreate.

The catch, there is a Saboteur in the room or in teams, who task is to sabotage their teams construction efforts. The Saboteur is a highly trained expert who will do just about anything to put teams out of the race to win the competition. However, teams in order to win, need to 'vote off their team' any suspects.

Teams need to complete the task successfully without a Saboteur on their team, which will require all of their skills of concentration, observation, and creativity.

There is nothing like a foreign environment for bringing people together and promoting team spirit.

Each team is pitching for a Tender of Business from a client. Teams are given key locations and photo topics, given time and resources, the teams are competing for a clients business, so creativity wins.
Once back at base, captions are digitally added onto your 'Snaps' from the day which are then shown back on the big screen straight away or over dinner later that evening or alternatively at the end of your event.

Earthquake is designed to promote group problem solving consensus decision-making and an understanding of group dynamics. It is a simulation exercise that asks participants to first solve the problem individually and then as a group making agreed decisions.

A one hour indoors session that engages every one in open discussion.

Participants are asked to respond to the following storyline:
You and some coworkers are in the basement library of your downtown office building finishing a presentation for a meeting the next morning. The building shakes violently. There has been a major earthquake. You begin to pick yourselves up and assess the damage...

Participants determine appropriate action steps to ensure their survival in order of importance as well as those that should be avoided. The scores are then compared against an expert ranking and demonstrate that effective teams generally produce better outcomes than individuals alone (synergy).

As with Trivia nights, we have a series of rounds that teams compete over.These can operate in order, or we have multiple rounds running at once. The MC runs the show with a mix of theatre and also banter, groups are usually having dinner / drinks and a good time to start is as Mains at dinner is being taken away, prior to desert.

We have teams creating and building objects, such as the tailest tower from straws, guessing objects, picrture round, music, history, who am I etc. TV video quizz, hedge your bets etc.
